Moreno Valley WarehousingPost: Hugh

Do we like to go shopping and be able to find what we want? Of course we do. It’s a fact of life and business: Companies need to warehouse their goods in order to deliver them to outlets in a timely manner and meet consumer needs – which helps the economy grow. Without warehousing, large local and specifically national companies would be out of business. The lack of warehousing facilities in this day and age would interrupt the distribution system to retail establishments, inhibit what the public has available to purchase and increase the cost of those goods – which does not help our economy grow. Pollution? The quality of air today in Southern California compared to 40 or 50 years ago is multiple times better. Low wages? A warehouse manager in Riverside, CA makes about $50-$60K, a supervisor $55-$70K, warehouse worker $29K, forklift operator $25K. The warehousing facilities built and planned in MorenoValley have a positive impact on Riverside County. They create jobs, much needed tax income and provide growth in our area.
