reporting thefts to UPSReply: Brenda
Even though the theft of the UPS package was reported to law enforcement, it also needs to be reported to UPS directly, who have their own security department, and they take these thefts VERY seriously.  With the identifying information that was noted when the theft occurred, this will give them even more information to pursue this crime.

UPS Theft continuedReply: red
Many thanks to everyone involved in the transmission of info regarding this most unfortunate occurrence. Hopefully with the information provided to the local constabularies by a variety of  our community members, the guilty parties will be brought to justice and our idyllic community will once again return to its  peaceful existence. We did in fact recover our stolen sandals thanks to an alert citizen who at first blush thought she was simply picking up someones discarded trash. This favorable outcome is a direct result of the much appreciated work done by the moderators of this forum. The initial report of the thieves at work in our community went out within ten minutes after I sent in the post! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Fed-Ex TheftReply: samianne
To add to the UPS theft info I have to inform you that on 1/29 Fed-Ex delivered an 8x11" envelope to our property on Knob (just off MultiView).  It was an O2 monitor for a car; cost $42.  At 10:40 in the morning I found the opened envelope, packing slip enclosed, car part missing.    I'm very concerned about these thefts - my meds all come by mail or UPS.

For the safety of everyone who lives in the area AND for the innocents who also drive red Mazdas, I would like to see the policy waived in this instance and post that license number.

UPS Package - Shoes Found, Being ReturnedReply: Nathan
I just wanted to let everyone who may not already know that these shoes have been found are are in the process of being returned to the correct owner.

I wanted to say an extra special thank you to the person who found these and returned them. I wish everyone was as honest as you are. Though I will not give this persons name, I just wanted to say that this is a testament to what a wonderful community we live in and that by communicating, we can solve our problems on our own.

Thank you all for posting about this and keeping the conversation going. This is a great "ending" to this story.

Just a suggestion for all-it might be time to keep a camera close by?

UPS package theftPost: red
This morning, about 9:30 or so, just minutes after UPS made a delivery at our house on Multiview Drive,  my wife saw a white male reach through our wrought iron fence and take our UPS package. The thief is a white male  about 35 years of age or so with colorful tattoos on both arms. He has blondish hair, weighs about 175 lbs and is about 5 foot 9 inches tall. He is accompanied by a white female. They are driving a very clean late model red mazda hatchback. We went out looking for them and found them driving up and down all the streets off of Multiview Drive looking for more UPS deliveries to steal. We were not able to obtain their license number as they left the area in great haste after they realized they had been noticed. We filed a police report.
