Erosion of Honor In Today's SocietyReply: Hugh
First, I don't see much honor in pleading quilty to murder. In order to commit the crime you must first be without any level of honor. In my opinion, honor does not come 'after' the fact. I believe there are many honorable people in America, they're just not backed up by our political leaders - those 'leaders' (jokingly) should be the ones with the most respect. Now, another post is stating the man has pled 'not' guilty. How honorable is that?

Oh, and about the erosion of honor in today's society? It's like the 'trickel down' theory of economics. It starts at the top. When a country's leader has no honor, no respect, then that cancer bleeds down through other elected officials and on to the un-informed citizenry.

Honor Still Exists?Reply: Gayle Geer
Sounded real good. He said he would plead guilty.  Today he pleaded not guilty.

Honor still exists in our world today???Post: Nathan
I just wanted to share this with everyone as I found this very moving. Some of you may have seen this in the news already. I wish our Country was still like this today, maybe we would not be where we are. Maybe this guy did not do the smartest thing in the world, but he did the honorable thing and that is priceless in my eyes. I just thought I would share.

Remember, you can not lie to yourself.

Man confesses to drunk driving murder.
