Upper Chase 1 Acre ZonedReply: Nathan
Yes, from the maps that I have, it shows Very Low Density Residential - 1 acre.

The print is difficult to read, but I *think* I'm seeing this as the lots are at a minimum of 40,000 sq. ft. lots (the county's version of 1 acre)?

Do anyone know when this project was originally submitted to planning?

RAGLM met with and did some work with the developer of the future "Rabbit Scramble" development across Washington from this project, a few years back.  In that case, the zoning was 2 acre minumum, but Rabbit Scramble reps argued that the Lewis Development Specific Plan area was precedent to allow them to reduce lots to 1 acre.  Even though the promise with the Lewis project Specific Plan was that a specific plan's reduction in lot sizes from existing zoning was not ever to be used as consideration/precedent for other adjoining projects, for reducing lot sizes.

Does anyone know if this area originally zoned 2 acre minimum?  Or if it was always 1 acre?  Just curious.  My old maps are packed away.

While this is not within the Greater Lake Mathews COI, this was brought to our attention at last nights meeting and we wanted to make sure it was passed on.
