To Maven re: ChemtrailsReply: Gayle Geer
I apologize for bringing up chemtrails. This is controversial and not the place for a discussion on them.

Maven: I refer you to a search engine of your choice. There is much information out there on chemtrails.
If you prefer to contact me directly, you can post to me and I will point you to some informative sites.

Take care,

Well, at least they aren't spraying chemtrails!  (Just nasty fuel)
I try to look on the bright side.

Planes over Gavilan HillsReply: BillB
I read where there was supposed to be a huge Military exercise going on last week (and maybe this week). These military aircraft might explain any recent increase I traffic, but I see no problem with it whether civilian or military.

I have not noticed a deviation with regard to the commercial flights or March ARB.  I have noticed, however, that some of the weekend recreational flyers are flying considerably low lately.  As in, window-rattling low.  What have you seen from the air base Nick?  The coolest thing I ever saw was a B-2 stealth bomber.  About 5 years ago, that sucker flew right over our house.  Oddly enough, it sounded like a '65 Mustang.  I assumed it was on the way to do a flyover at a football game or something.  I see other notable planes once in a while, but they never seem to launch those F-16's!

Ontario to Phoenix Air TrafficReply: Nick G
I fly out of Ontario several times a year on US Air, and their hub is Phoenix. For whatever reason, we always fly south and bank right over Gavilan Hills before taking a straight line to Phoenix. If I'm on the left side of the plane, it provides a nice view of my house during the bank.

It's been that way for at least the 3-1/2 years we've lived here. They probably plan these maneuvers over "non-populated" areas. Doesn't bother us any though. Hell, the military planes and helos fly much lower and are much louder... but that's like a personal air show!

Flight path change Post: John
Hi All, I sat on my patio last night at around 9pm and there were many airplanes that flew directly over my house, one right after the other. They seemed to be on there way Long Beach or John Wayne. I hear them decelerate and turn all of the time but these were flying straight through. I haven't spent much time outside at night lately and never remember seeing or hearing them.  A couple of weeks ago while BBQing I saw lights from airplanes coming from the same direction and it seemed like there were several heading toward me but I forgot all about it until last night. Has anyone else noticed this?
