Keep our Area RuralPost: Sandy
Now that home prices are escalating, developers are coming to our area wanting to build.  We realize that they have the right to build on their property but now they are asking for zoning changes!  This property is 238 acres located off Wood Rd. and Markham/Ave. C and zoned for one home per acre. The developer is now asking for approval to build 4 and 5 homes per acre.  If they get this approved, all the other developers will want to do the same thing!  My husband and I moved here because we loved the country, the large acreage and wanted room for horses.  We loved the dirt roads, no street lights (we can now see all the stars) and the rural atmosphere.
If you moved here for the same reasons, then you need to attend this IMPORTANT meeting of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors’ on May 23, 2017, 9:00 AM, at the Riverside County Building, 4080 Lemon St., Riverside.  Please wear a red shirt to show you are against the rezoning!  The Supervisors will listen to us but only if they see a room over-flowing with unhappy residents.
Also, Kevin Jeffries, our area Supervisor will be at the next RAGLM Meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 7:00 PM, at the Meeting Room at 16451 El Sobrante, Riverside, CA 92503.
