Not Political Whatsoever In General Forum PostReply: Hugh
I totally disagree that my post, "Everybody's Happy Now. Right?" has anything to do with politics. I was simply commenting on a "community" matter that came up for discussion in the General forum and a change that was requested (and has now been implemented thanks to Nathan's quick action) to the RAGLM website forum headings. Nothing more than that. Perhaps it was the light touch of sarcasm that some might choose to read into it that provided the irritation.

It's kind of like Bill Clinton's remark back in 1998, "...it depends on what the definition of 'is' is." I apologize to those that may feel my choice of words "...to you" somehow made the post seem political in nature.

Thank You, Nathan!Reply: retiredbobby0
I fully appreciate the fact that Nathan decided to place an exclusive area for political discussions in the appropriate place! If it were kept in the "General" section it caused those of us who didn't want to read the ranting and raving of political opinions that would have been shoved down our throat in a section that covered a lot of our "General" subjects as well. All of us have just as much right to "not be forced to read political banter" as anyone has the right have to voice their political position. I'm glad that Nathan chose to give "Politics" a special section and allow anyone to chose when and what they want to read! Great Choice!

Posted political comment in wrong areaReply: Michael D
The reference to what the government does "to" me, is clearly political and should be in the Politics section, not in the General discussion area. All politics is local, but not all local is politics. I'm tired of it. Nathan, please weigh in.

Everybody's Happy Now. Right?Post: Hugh
Nathan, bless his soul, took his donated time to address the issue of political oriented posts that a few had whined about but many, including myself, were just fine with.

For those individuals that have no interest in keeping up to date on what their government (local, state & DC) is doing to you you've gotten your way. Everything is warm and fuzzy now - right?
