Ferrel Gas IssueReply: Cindy Ferry
I sent them a post, asking them to explain themselves.  I have not heard a word back from them.  If I do, I'll let you know.

I believe the regulator is yoursReply: Nathan
Unfortunately we need to be a**holes to get anything done anymore as the little guy just gets squashed. First, you will need to double check but I believe that when you set up your service, you had to pay to buy a new regulator. This is somewhere around $20 and you may need to check your paperwork but you usually own it and in which case they have stolen your property and caused you hardship. I would say this is grounds to at least threaten a suit to get what you want out of them. Second, AmeriGas tried the same thing with me yet I have been down this road too many times with service companies. So I one upped them. I called and told them that if they did not come and get it today, that I would be putting a lien against it and will be charging them a storage fee for storing it on my property. I then asked for an address for service of process. They came out that day. This is something they do not want you to know but they will gladly store their tanks on your property as it costs them to store them.

You know it is funny but I was once told that you get more bees with honey, unfortunately I have found that not to be the case and is quite the opposite. The more of an a**hole I am, the more I tend to get.

It is truly sad that we can no longer be kind to each other as someone will always try to take advantage of that.

FerrellGas Disconnected my Service and didn't notify mePost: KepSter
In my opinion, FerrellGas has been the worst Propane company I have ever had.  KC Propane was ok (good prices, but a little lack in customer service).  A month ago, I began new service will Allstate Propane.  They are great.  Ferrell apparently couldn't even get out to pick up their tank after I switched service.  It has sat in my front yard for a month.  Even after I called, they took another 10 days to get out to get it, then in doing so, they disconnected my service with Allstate to take their regulator, and didn't call me, didn't leave a note on the door or anything.  We have no hot water, no heat in the middle of winter.  What a bunch of idiots they are.

On the other hand, I called Allstate at 7pm last night to explain the story.  I expected to have to leave a message, but a live person actually answered the phone, and is sending someone out today (the very next day) to fix it.  Just say "No" to Ferrell, and yes to Allstate or KC Propane.

If you don't believe me yet, read my previous post about Ferrell's price gouging as compared to the other two companies.  I can't see how they stay in business.
