A Man Among Theives?Reply: Cindy Ferry
Easy enough to do when you have at least one retirement income coming in, at a public service retirement rate at that.  Do your really think he would have made that offer if he didn't have that retirement check coming in to cover his livinig costs each month?  I think not.

A Man Among Thieves, local politician actually follows through with their wordPost: Nathan

I have always felt that the word service meant just that and that publicly elected officials are our public SERVANTS. To bad our political parties do not see it the same way. I do want to point out a simple fact whether you voted for him or not I thought you should all know that he has upheld his word. Kevin Jeffries had stated many times publicly during his campaign that he would not take a pension. He has now stuck to his word and declined a public pension for his County Supervisor position. I say bravo to any politician whose word I can trust based on their actions.
