I see the link did not directly connect, but it works if you copy and paste. Sorry. It tells the whole story of what we have been through this month. I appreciate any thoughts and prayers for my mom also! I print out things that I hope will make her happy. If you would like to send a card email me for address. Thanks again

Family in NeedPost: newmanpenny
Hi, I know not too many of you know me. I have only participated in the pancake breakfast for the last two years. My work hours do not allow me to attend the weekday meetings, but I have lived in the area for over 20 years.
My mom has always had health problems, but she still had to work to make ends meet. She lives in a mobile home park about 7 miles from my home for 12 years now, and they keep raising her rent. When she moved in it was affordable but it grew and is more than her SSI, so she had to continue doing odd jobs to keep paying her bills.
On May 6th she got a ruptured bowel and she has been in county hospital ever since. I am now with her daily at the hospital to help keep her safe and keep a positive mind. She was very close to death but amazingly they kept her with us, even through septic shock. County is not the worst hospital, but you need family to be there to help and call people when needed. My mom had to be intubated twice, leaving her unable to call for anything.
She IS getting better and maybe home by June. My goal is that she not have any more worries besides getting better. Thanks for your time
