Blood moon picsReply: Gayle Geer

Nathan and Morningsky,

Thanks for sharing your shots; they were great.  Attached are a couple of mine.  The one with the trees is using 80mm lens, F4.5 and 1 sec from a fence.  The one of the moon is 200mm, F4.5 and 2 seconds from a tripod.  I set the ISO at 3200 for both.  My camera is a mirrorless so the lens is equiv to 120mm and 300mm on a full frame or 35mm.  Both were manual.

We enjoyed watching it, too. Amazing!
My hubby took a lot of photos and I'm trying to attach one here. Maybe it will work!

For those that may have missed it! Blood Moon.Reply: Nathan
OK, I am by no means a photographer nor do I really know how to use my new camera yet. So I tried playing with the ISO and without a tripod this was one of the best I could get. Just thought I would share. It was a great site, we watched it from about 7:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. Used the telescope and as you can see the camera. Hope you all enjoyed it as it will not happen again until 2033.
