Would that  amazing young man  of a son of yours be the one who would be interested, Toni?

You are so sweet to answer about the bed. We are certainly interested in water beds, and we love what you have, bladder style. But, since we're not flush, we can't afford it right now. We mainly posted the questions so other people could have the info. Let us know what happens, to the bed, and on the housing front. I had so much fun on the hike. You certainly made my day!

Selling Waterbed ~Reply: Willow
Well, Toni, you are more knowledgeable about water beds than I.  I remember last year when I bought it I heard those terms, but I do not remember what means what.

The bed is a Queen size.  The water containing portiion of it is one whole container which holds the water, and it is without separating portions or anything that aligns or directs the water within the single outer container.  Does that answer your question?  I didn't want a modernized, more structured waterbed.  I wanted an old fashioned feel of the original waterbeds.

My kids and I used to rent just one bedroom in this large house, so the kids and I slept sideways on a king sized waterbed.  And we would have so much fun taking turns making waves to rock ourselves to sleep with the motion of the waves.  I was notstalgically trying to recapture some of the warm memories of the past.  I am so sorry to have to part with it now.  I assembled it in a back bedroom which I thought I would be moving into, but plans changed and I am sleeping in a room where I can hear if there is any night time activity around my car.  I can't sleep way back in the back bedroom because I am so nervous about my car being damaged during the night.  So my sweet waterbed hasn't even been slept in 30 times in this past year or so.  And now I am most likely moving (can't afford the water hikes, and electricity hikes, fire tax, etc.), and draining and moving my darling waterbed is just more energy expenditure than I can handle when added to all the other moving demands.  I am selling my Grandson's first piano also.  Only keeping things which I can easily carry all by myself.  I may end up living in a tent for awhile.  Can't be sure.  Am preparing for whatever comes my way.

Gosh I enjoyed meeting you the other day!!!

Waterbed for Sale ~Post: Willow
Almost New Waterbed with heater, headboard, side and bottom cushions will be coming up for sale shortly.  We are preparing to move and lightening our load.  This excellent waterbed was bought new less than two years ago and has been a 'guest' bed in the guest bedroom so has been slept in on fewer than 20  occasions.  It is in pristine condition.  Cost will be $750 and you will need to disassemble and move it yourself.   Call Gavin @ 951-776-9503 if interested.
