Hospital-Acquired Infections Reporting/Gavilan Hills Resident/Sons DeathPost: Cindy Ferry
I applaud the fight of Carole Moss.  So few are aware of the number of patients that are infected IN THE HOSPITAL itself.  Few are aware of the death rate of those infected IN THE HOSPITAL itself.  The reporting has been much needed and I'm proud that a member of our community took on the challenge and won.  I'm deeply saddened by the fact that it cost her hers sons life and that of so many others.  Hospitals should have ratings, as restaurants do, showing their infection rates ... based on their rating.

Hydrocephalus is a condition my sister suffers from and hospital stays are too numerous to remember.  Infections are common and so this fight is a welcome thing to see, in my personal opinion.  Thank you Carole Moss!!!
