When I drove down Gavilan I did see signs and Flagmen. Thanks for calling!  It was raining and slick.  Then I realized they were working on the north end of Gavilan (north of Multiview).  Yeah.  That section needs fixin'.  Drive safely!

There were flagmen out when I went down and came back up earlier.

Thank you for the heads up, Nathan.  I'm heading down Gavilan now and the rain just started so it might even become a little slippery on "our" beautiful, winding road.  Not sure why they are doing Gavilan, again, since it was done not long ago.  I think Santa Rosa Mine Rd could use a re-do, though.  Thanks, again!

Re-paving of Lake Mathews and GavilanPost: Nathan
Just an FYI, for those that do not know yet, the County is resurfacing Lake Mathews Drive as well as Gavilan. I have received a number of emails and phone calls stating that there are no flag men, another said they almost got hit, another mentioned that a truck was in the road with no signs or flags etc. I have contacted Transportation and they do know about it. I just wanted to give you all a heads up to drive extra careful on these roads for the next few days while they are doing this.
